Is a first generation graduate from Virginia Sate University where he received his degree in Accounting with a concentration in finance. At Virginia State he also competed athletically on the Collegiate level joining the VSU Football team. In Spring 2006 he became a member of the Alpha Alpha Alpha chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity INC. Where he held the position of Vice President of the Chapter. Post college he led a career as a cost/financial analyst for a government contractor prior to becoming an independent contractor which he currently does today. Jay is a community leader who helps organize an annual reunion with back-to-school giveaways for his community. He’s also the founder of the Organic Money movement where he advocates for financial literacy and economic understanding. Jay’s focal point in the movement is to get people to understand the significance of transferring their wealth into hard assets like physical gold and silver.
