In his spare time, Faheem is an avid reader, chess player, and relentless pursuer of philosophical strategy based knowledge.  As a hobby, Faheem enjoys the fine art of creative thought and spends winding moments of the day expressing his thoughts with original quotes, based upon his and others life experiences. Faheem is also an aspiring actor, having credits in the Independent Films “BOSS The Movie” and “BOSS 2” as Detective Taylor, Directed by Mitch Credle, “Second Chance” as Captain Freddy, and “Night Before Day,” as Lionel, Directed by Randall Lawrence. In addition, Faheem has played several characters in web series and short films such as “Diva City,” and “Where Have You Been,” Directed by Mitch Credle of CredleRock Films, just to name a few.  Faheem has experience in theater also, playing riveting roles in the Timeless Entertainment’s sold out stage plays “Decades,” “No Time,” “Family Affair,” “Family Affair, Holiday Edition,” written and Directed by Gill Nelson. Faheem is married to Jacqueline Harrison, with seven adult children (one deceased) and ten grandchildren, to whom he affectionately refers to as his “Grandfarts.” The following is one example of Faheem’s thought provoking quotations: “The preservation of the black  family remains of critical and vital importance to our existence, our legacy.  I don’t believe in mistakes but I am fully conscience of the learning experiences we all have to face in our pursuit of excellence.  There are three (3) options to confronting adversity: You can Fight, You can Flight, or You can Cope.  The decision you make will set the precedence for the manner in which you deal with the next issue.  Remember, we teach people how to treat us, so we can’t be disappointed when what we’ve taught is exercised against us.  Nonetheless, don’t ever, and I do mean ever, allow third party interveners to fix problems within our families that we can fix ourselves, via collective reasoning and forgiveness.”
